Privacy policy
Effective
This policy describes how Calto Data handles business inquiries submitted through jarwater.com and Calto Data lead forms on Facebook or Instagram. Calto Data helps businesses explore potential data-licensing introductions. An inquiry does not license your business records, create a licensing agreement or guarantee a payment.
Information you provide
Website inquiries collect your work email and the business answers you submit, such as company size, industry, record types, software usage, languages and approximate volumes. A Meta lead form may collect your first and last name, work email, phone number, job title, company name, company size, country and website, together with your permission choices.
These inquiries ask for contact details and general business information. Do not submit customer, health, personnel or confidential records. Selecting software in the website form does not connect an account or upload any files.
How we use an inquiry
We use the information to review potential fit, respond to your inquiry and discuss possible next steps. We also record the consent and disclosure version associated with website submissions and use technical records to limit spam and duplicate submissions.
Submitting an inquiry permits follow-up about that inquiry. It does not authorize access to your company systems or the extraction, transfer or licensing of enterprise records. Those activities require separate review, an agreed scope and appropriate permissions.
Introductions and sharing
Inquiries are reviewed by Calto Data and are not automatically forwarded to buyers. If you explicitly permit a Telegraph introduction in a Calto Data lead form, Calto Data may share the business contact details and company information you submit with Telegraph solely to explore that introduction. Without that permission, a website inquiry alone does not authorize forwarding your details to Telegraph.
Calto Data does not sell the contact details submitted in an inquiry. Any proposed sharing of enterprise records or data licensing requires a separate agreement. Calto Data is independent and does not represent a buyer or program; any proposed referral compensation would be disclosed for the introduction.
Services that process information
Cloudflare hosts jarwater.com. Website inquiry answers and email are stored in a private Cloudflare D1 database for inquiry review and follow-up. Short-lived form and rate-limit records use hashed network identifiers; raw IP addresses and browser user-agent strings are not stored with inquiry records by the application.
Meta processes Facebook and Instagram lead-form submissions and makes them available to Calto Data through its business tools. Meta applies its own privacy policy to its services. The website does not currently have an automated transfer of Meta leads into its inquiry database or an automated buyer-forwarding integration.
Email sent to our contact address is processed through AgentMail. Cloudflare, Meta and AgentMail also process information under their own service policies.
Retention and your choices
Website inquiry records do not currently expire automatically; deletion is managed by Calto Data. Expired spam-prevention and form-token records are removed when a new website form token is issued. Meta and email-provider records are also subject to those providers’ retention practices.
You can contact us to ask to review, correct or delete the inquiry information Calto Data holds, stop follow-up, or withdraw permission for a future introduction. Include the email address used for the inquiry so we can locate it. We may need to verify that the request comes from the person concerned. If details have already been shared with your permission, tell us so the request can also be raised with the recipient.
Cookies and tracking
The Calto Data website does not use analytics, advertising pixels or tracking cookies. This describes jarwater.com; Facebook, Instagram and other linked services have their own tracking and privacy practices.
Legal requests and policy changes
If we receive a legal request for inquiry information, we will review it and disclose information where required by applicable law. Updates to this policy will be published on this page with a revised effective date.
